Doug Webb▸ Organising Data (Task 4)
A data source that was used in one of your classes, together with any challenges or problems with using it, if any
Last year when I was working with my year 10 general science group they wanted to know the biggest contributors of Greenhouse Gases (GHG) per capita amongst developed and developing countries.
Most immediately went to google and found sources such as this one:
https://www.epa.gov/ghgemissions/global-greenhouse-gas-emissions-data
and were content their "research" was done. the problem being the blatant bias of countries producing data (such as China and India) and so encouraged them to use Boolean searches or alternate search engines (Duckduckgo) and compare where the referenced data came from to get a more accurate picture.
