Task 4 – Organising Data

My class was concerned about the amount of pre-packaged foods consumed by students during the school day and the level of non recyclable material this packaging produced. They brainstormed possible survey questions to ask our student population, used Google Forms to design and publish an online student questionnaire and used its data gathering functions to collect and analyse data from each classroom over a 2-week period.

Students then analysed the results and created a presentation which they shared with the student population during an assembly and the parent body. They then set each class a challenge to consume more appropriate / fresh food products which have no or minimal packaging and re-ran the survey comparing the different data sets.
