I have found teaching a Year 9 class Digital Tech to be quite challenging at the start.  Coming from a heavy content based subject area (Science) and moving to an area that I know very little about, it’s been a bit of adjustment.

Remembering that I don’t need ALL the skills, that I can learn with the students and when learning programming languages, I’ve just made sure that I’m a few steps ahead of the class.

It has been really enjoyable to see the creativity in the student and the Learning Area Co-ordinator has been incredibly supportive too!
